Pennsylvania’s Premier Dermatology Group is Now Serving Patients in North Wilmington, Delaware

North Wilmington, Delaware – January 6, 2021 – Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners is proud to bring Pennsylvania’s premier dermatology group to Delaware with the opening of our new location in North Wilmington. Dr. Jason Schoenfeld and Parth Patel PA-C will be providing care for patients

at the old practice of Dr. Fanny Berg, who retired over the summer.

Both providers will be offering general dermatology services to patients of all ages, and in addition, Dr. Schoenfeld will be performing Mohs micrographic surgeries.

Dr. Jason Schoenfeld is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs surgeon who attained his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. He went on to attend Jefferson Medical College, completed his internship at Drexel University/Hahnemann University Hospital and his dermatology training at the University at Buffalo, followed by a fully accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

For his final year of residency, he was selected Chief Resident. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Schoenfeld was accepted into the prestigious one year Fellowship Program in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Dermatologic SurgiCenter in Philadelphia, PA, where he received advanced training in skin cancer surgery, reconstruction, and state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Schoenfeld has published numerous articles and presented at national meetings. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and provides complete medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic services. He has the highest level of training, with a special interest in Mohs micrographic surgery, surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancer, and reconstruction.

“As a graduate of the University of Delaware, I look forward to returning to the ‘First State’ to provide the highest level of safe and compassionate dermatologic care. As one of only a handful of fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeons in the entire state, I am especially excited to offer this highly specialized service to my skin cancer patients who need it.”

Dr. Schoenfeld will be joined by board-certified dermatology physician assistant, Parth Patel. Mr. Patel began his career as a physician assistant in New York City where he was trained in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is currently completing a terminal doctorate degree for PAs in Doctor of Medical Science at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. In addition to practicing clinically, Mr. Patel holds adjunct faculty positions at Seton Hall University and Thomas Jefferson University for their PA programs. He is an active member of American Academy of PAs (AAPA), Society of Dermatology PAs (SDPA),and Pennsylvania Dermatology PAs (PDPA). He specializes in treating various dermatological conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails but focuses on treating acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, and skin cancer.
